Association of Marina Industries (AMI)

The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) is a nonprofit membership organization focused on the marina industry, representing over 1,000 members including marinas, boatyards, and yacht clubs across the U.S. and globally. AMI provides access to educational services, legislative support, and networking opportunities. It is known for its AMI Training Institute, which offers internationally recognized certification programs for marina professionals. AMI was formed in 2005 through the merger of the Marina Operators Association of America (MOAA) and the International Marina Institute (IMI), both of which have a rich history in promoting professional education and advocacy for the marina sector. The association continues to deliver member-driven programs and services, ensuring that its members are well-equipped to meet the challenges of the industry.
