Catbark specializes in the construction of foiling vessels using fiberglass pipes and composites, offering design consulting and yacht building services.
The Catbark concept originated in 2015, initiated by Fano B&B (FBB) during excursions in the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage site. To meet the unique demands of this environment, a team of engineers and ocean sailors developed a vessel design utilizing Glass-Reinforced Plastic (GRP) pipe construction, featuring a novel propulsion system and wings-in-water technology. Catbark now offers design consulting and the construction of a 20-meter explorer yacht based on the Catbark Concept, tailored to client specifications. Services are provided at their headquarters by the Limfjord, Denmark, or at a location of the client's choice.
