Founded in 1897 by the Stock family in Trieste, Harpo spa began by producing and exporting Portland cement. In 1926, the company expanded into aluminosilicate cement production. Over the decades, Harpo has evolved, establishing a geotechnical division in the 1980s after discovering innovative drainage geocomposites. The company merged to form Harpo spa in 1999 and has since developed a range of products for civil engineering, including geosynthetics and green roofing systems. With a commitment to quality, Harpo has been ISO 9001 certified since 2003, ensuring high standards in its operations. The company continues to innovate, offering solutions that integrate with natural systems and reduce environmental impact, particularly in Italy's sensitive geological landscape.
