Mystic Shipyard

Mystic Shipyard, established in 1843, has a rich history in shipbuilding, initially focusing on schooners and iron-clad ships. Over the years, it transitioned to constructing pleasure yachts and notable vessels like the Jennie R. Dubois, the largest sailing ship built in Mystic. Today, it operates as a recreational marina, providing full services including custom shipwright carpentry, fiberglass repair, rigging, and engine repair. With locations on both the WEST and EAST shores of the Mystic River, Mystic Shipyard serves over 155 summer residents and 300 winter storage customers, making it a key player in the local marine industry.
