Founded in 1992 by four young Yugoslavs, Pain d'Avignon started as a small boulangerie on Cape Cod, dedicated to the belief that fine bread should be at the heart of every meal. Over the years, it has grown into a renowned bakery, café, and restaurant, serving exceptional dining experiences and artisan breads without preservatives or artificial ingredients. The bakery has expanded to include three restaurant locations and a roastery, delivering to over 250 wholesale accounts, including Michelin-starred restaurants. Pain d'Avignon emphasizes traditional baking techniques, with some breads taking up to 36 hours to produce. The establishment has received accolades, including being voted #1 for brunch on Cape Cod in 2024. The journey continues as they uphold their founding principles of quality and authenticity.
