The company began as the Sculler Corporation in New York City, initially producing line-throwing cannons. During World War II, it contributed to the war effort by distributing life floats and personal flotation devices. After the war, it rebranded as Revere Supply Company, focusing on survival and safety products. In 1977, Revere started manufacturing commercial life rafts, and in 2000, it launched recreational life rafts, including the award-winning Coastal Compact.
