Founded in 1976 by Joël Brétécher, a former automotive designer at Pininfarina, Stirling Design International (SDI) has established itself as a leader in naval design and architecture. Under the management of Thibaut Tincelin since 2007, SDI offers a comprehensive range of services including preliminary design, naval architecture, interior and exterior design, and construction oversight. The agency is committed to delivering innovative and effective solutions tailored to client specifications, supported by a multidisciplinary team of seven designers, architects, and engineers. Their expertise encompasses artistic and scientific skills, along with advanced 3D modeling and imaging capabilities. SDI is actively involved in R&D projects, including the NEMOSHIP and WHISPER initiatives under Horizon Europe, showcasing their commitment to innovation in the maritime sector.
