Stones Boatyard, established in 1938 by James Stone, has a rich history of building and restoring wooden boats, particularly the renowned Salcombe Yawls. With nearly 100 years of experience, the Stone family has built a reputation for craftsmanship and quality service. The boatyard offers comprehensive services including boat storage, maintenance, and launch and recovery on the Salcombe Estuary. In 2020, Stones Boatyard became the UK's largest approved YETI stockist, providing a wide range of outdoor gear. The facility is located in East Portlemouth, Salcombe, and is dedicated to preserving the heritage of wooden boating while embracing modern outdoor lifestyle products.
