At Studio Lacquer Decor, we utilize ancient Japanese crafts, specifically Urushi lacquer, to create exclusive decorative finishes for furniture, artwork, and other designs. Our process is labor-intensive, often taking 2-6 months to complete, with up to 60 layers of lacquer applied and polished by hand. We incorporate various materials such as gold, silver, and mother-of-pearl to achieve unique results. Collaborating with Intarsio, we design and manufacture custom pieces for individuals and businesses, applying our techniques to a variety of surfaces including wood, metal, and glass. Our commitment to quality and tradition allows us to offer a glimpse into the beauty of over nine thousand years of Japanese craftsmanship.
