Water Revolution Foundation was established in 2018 at The Superyacht Forum to lead the charge in making the superyacht industry more sustainable. The foundation serves as a collaborative platform, bringing together industry leaders to develop tools and practices that promote environmental responsibility. Its mission is to neutralize the ecological footprint of the superyacht sector while preserving the health of the oceans. The foundation's initiatives include the Yacht Assessment Method, which evaluates environmental impacts in yacht construction, and the Yacht Environmental Transparency Index, a classification system for measuring yacht environmental performance. The foundation also operates a Hub of Verified Solutions, providing access to third-party verified products that reduce environmental impact. With a focus on education and collaboration, Water Revolution Foundation aims to empower stakeholders within the superyacht industry to adopt sustainable practices and innovate for a greener future.
